In San Giorgio La Molara, in the heart of the Fortore region, the Festa della Marchigiana celebrates the deep connection between local communities, farming traditions and outstanding food. From 30 July to 2 August, the village welcomes visitors to discover one of its greatest treasures: the IGP Marchigiana cattle breed, raised for generations on the rolling hills of the Sannio countryside.

Every dish tells the story of local breeders, animal welfare and a production chain that has made San Giorgio La Molara one of Italy's leading centres for Marchigiana cattle farming.

Over four days, the village comes alive with food stands, live music, tastings, cultural events and the prestigious Interregional Marchigiana Cattle Show, where breeders from different regions gather to showcase the excellence of this renowned breed. Visitors can also enjoy guided tours of local farms, discover the historic centre and explore the landscapes that make the Fortore such a remarkable destination.
