Sagra dell'Iperbole

Its name recalls a traditional village festival, but here the local speciality is exaggeration itself. From 31 July to 2 August 2026, the Antiche Terme Jacobelli in Telese Terme will host a new edition of Sagra dell’Iperbole e altri prodotti tipici, a festival combining stand-up comedy, podcasts and live music.
Created to offer a different interpretation of the traditional Italian sagra, the event brings contemporary artistic languages, humour and entertainment onto the same stage. Hyperbole becomes the common thread running through three evenings of laughter, stories and surprising performances that play with reality and its contradictions.
The announced guests include Serena Bongiovanni, one of the most distinctive voices in Italy’s new comedy scene. The music programme will feature artists such as MasaMasa, Aldolà and Chivalà, crossing different genres and creative styles. Food and drink areas will also be available to enjoy between performances.
The Parco delle Antiche Terme Jacobelli adds to the appeal of the experience. Surrounded by greenery, this historic setting will become a lively cultural space for three days. It is a contemporary and unexpected festival designed for those who love comedy, music and everything that joyfully goes beyond the ordinary.
