For eighteen days, Pontelandolfo changes rhythm, fills with colour and becomes a meeting place for peoples, traditions and cultures from all over the world.
From 30 July to 16 August 2026, Eco-Folklore Week returns for its 63rd edition with a renewed format. Folklore remains the beating heart of the event, while intertwining with themes of environmental protection, biodiversity and sustainability, giving life to an experience that brings memory and the future into dialogue.
Among the most eagerly awaited events is the Pontelandolfolk Fest, scheduled from 4 to 6 August. Groups from Mexico, Kenya and Serbia will meet the traditions of Pontelandolfo through performances, costumes, dance workshops, games and shared activities. The streets and squares of the village will be transformed into a large international stage, where every step, sound and garment will tell the identity and story of a people.
The programme will also be enriched with excursions, cultural meetings, nature-focused initiatives and activities for different age groups. On Friday 7 August at 10:00 pm, Piazza Roma will also host Sarah Toscano for a free stop of her 2026 Summer Tour.
More than just a festival, Eco-Folklore Week is a journey through cultures and traditions to be experienced without leaving Sannio: an explosion of music, colours and energy capable of turning diversity into one great collective celebration.
