Antichi Saperi e Sapori della Valle Telesina

There are many ways to discover a place. Sometimes, all it takes is to look at what its land produces, taste what reaches its tables and meet the people who continue to preserve its traditional skills and customs.

This is the idea behind “Antichi Saperi e Sapori della Valle Telesina”, taking place in Telese Terme on 5 and 6 September 2026: two days bringing together some of the most authentic expressions of the Telesina Valley.

Local products and producers will naturally take centre stage. Farms and local artisans will showcase their work, while tastings and special food experiences will offer visitors a chance to discover flavours rooted in the area's traditions.

Yet the event also explores everything that lies behind those products: knowledge handed down over generations, traditional skills, everyday work and the relationship with the land that continues to shape many communities across Sannio. Food and wine are therefore accompanied by moments dedicated to agriculture, local excellence and the future development of the area.

On Sunday, the programme broadens this story even further. Alongside an exhibition of vintage tractors and agricultural machinery, visitors will find art, photography, ceramics, vintage postcards and street performers – different ways of rediscovering fragments of local history and culture.

Music, shows and entertainment will accompany both days, while participating restaurants will offer special menus created for the occasion.

Antichi Saperi e Sapori is therefore an invitation to look at the Telesina Valley a little more closely: not only through what it produces, but through the people, knowledge and traditions that continue to shape its identity.
