Now in its 23rd edition, the Torrone and Croccantino Festival is one of the most anticipated events of the Samnite Christmas, capable of combining taste, culture and tradition. From December 5th to ’8th, 2025, Piazza Risorgimento and the historic center of San Marco dei Cavoti will be transformed into a village of sweets, where the absolute protagonists are nougat and, above all, the famous crisscross, made with almonds, hazelnuts, honey and covered in dark chocolate.
The most anticipated moment is the preparation of Megacroccantino, a huge bar of crisp made by local pastry chefs and presented on Sunday, December 7th at 3:00 PM: a collective ritual that showcases the village's artisanal craftsmanship.
The program is packed: a gospel opening, evening shows, guided tours of the historic center, special openings of the Tower Clock Museum, children's workshops, and the first edition of the Crocco Trek, an urban trek dedicated to the landscapes and flavors of the area.
With free admission and an offering that combines taste, history, and entertainment, the Torrone Festival is an essential stop on the Sannio Christmas calendar.
