Barbecue and Walnut Picking at Parco del Volturno

At Parco del Volturno in Amorosi, Saturday, 10 October is all about rediscovering the pleasure of spending an autumn day surrounded by nature, with an event designed especially for families.
The day begins with conviviality: visitors can reserve an eight-seat table complete with grill and barbecue and enjoy their time together inside the park.
But the most distinctive experience comes in the afternoon, when children take centre stage.

A little bag and plenty of walnuts to find

After the Foam Party, children will be free to collect walnuts that have already fallen to the ground.
Each child will receive a Parco del Volturno bag, and whatever they manage to collect will be theirs to take home.
It is an incredibly simple activity, and perhaps that is exactly what makes it so fitting for the spirit of the day: spending time outdoors, discovering what nature has to offer and rediscovering small gestures that were once part of everyday life.
