Others seem to belong to another world, where imagination meets tradition and every alley becomes part of a story waiting to be told.

This is the spirit of The Bewitched Night, organised by Pro Loco Baselice, returning on 7 August for its second edition. For one unforgettable evening, the historic centre of Baselice will be transformed into an immersive experience inspired by the legendary Janare, the mysterious witches of Benevento's folklore.

The heart of the event will be Piazza Castello, where live music and DJ performances will keep the atmosphere alive until dawn. The programme features Soundtrack 80s, Voice Stefa, Synth & Soul, DJ Floyd, DJ Ferro.G, together with saxophone performances by Alessio Bibbò and Daniele Schirone.

As visitors wander through the charming streets of the old town, they will discover food stalls offering sandwiches, fried specialities, desserts, local wine, beer and many other flavours that celebrate the hospitality of the area.

Guests are also encouraged to join the fun by dressing up as witches, embracing the playful spirit of the evening and becoming part of an event that celebrates one of the most iconic legends of the Sannio.

With The Bewitched Night, Pro Loco Baselice once again showcases the power of local traditions to bring people together, transforming folklore into an engaging experience that celebrates community, culture and shared moments.

Because in the Sannio, legends are not simply remembered.
