“Tra i Vicoli di Cautano” is the event that, every summer, brings the Sannio village to life with three days of tradition, flavor, and culture.
In 2025, the festival celebrates its 10th edition, scheduled from August 12th to 14th, organized by Pro Loco Cepino-Prata Cautano APS.

Starting in the late afternoon, visitors are invited to follow a charming path through the narrow streets of the old town, where every corner becomes a stage. Food and wine stands offer the authentic flavors of the territory — from traditional rural recipes to local wines — while artisans and artists showcase their creations through exhibitions, live performances, and craft displays.

Music, dance, and street shows are also part of the scene, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.
“Tra i Vicoli” is more than a village festival — it’s a journey through time: a chance to rediscover local roots while imagining the future of the community.

This year, the event takes on an even more special meaning thanks to its 10th anniversary milestone, with an enriched program and a renewed focus on celebrating the local identity.

Curiosities

• The first edition of “Tra i Vicoli” dates back to 2015, created as a local initiative to bring new life to the lesser-known corners of the village.

• Every year, dozens of local associations and volunteers take part, transforming the historic center into a true open-air museum.

• Over the past editions, the event has also hosted street artists from other regions, expanding its reputation well beyond the borders of the Sannio area.
