UP & BASCIO

Walking up and down the alleyways of Torrecuso means travelling through stories, traditions and views that reveal the identity of the village. From 17 to 19 July 2026, Up & Bascio returns, transforming the historic centre into a lively meeting place filled with culture and community participation.
The event’s name evokes the journey between the upper and lower parts of the village, as well as the dialogue between past and future, memory and innovation. For the first time, Nuova Pro Loco Torricolus APS, Forum Giovani Torrecuso and Gramigna APS have joined their experience and energy to create a shared project.
The programme will lead visitors through activities for young people, book presentations, open-air cinema, live concerts and DJ sets. One of its most evocative experiences will be “Tra-Monte e Bollicine”, a panoramic aperitif combining the colours of the sunset with the area’s excellent wines. Sunday will celebrate the village’s deepest roots with the Palio del Castello and the traditional parade beneath the stars.
Local food and wine will also play an important role, with Torrecuso’s wines and traditional flavours accompanying the festival. Up & Bascio therefore becomes the story of a community choosing to move forward together while opening its village to those wishing to discover it.
