Veria fest

Some events simply fill a square. Others create connections.

From 19 to 21 June 2026, Pago Veiano will host the second edition of Veria Fest – Festival of Equal Opportunities and Community Spirit, an event that places people, inclusion and the creation of a stronger and more aware community at its heart. Organised by Artemide APS Association, in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Pago Veiano and the Municipal Administration, the festival aims to promote equal opportunities, the common good and the active involvement of younger generations.

For three days, this village in the Sannio area will become a widespread cultural hub featuring theatre performances, experiential workshops, meetings, children's activities, outdoor experiences, artistic laboratories and moments dedicated to sharing and togetherness.

The programme opens on Friday, 19 June, with a special preview and the official launch of the second edition. Saturday, 20 June, will offer workshops, family activities, performances and the contest "The Sound of Words", celebrating words as tools for participation and change. Sunday, 21 June, will focus on outdoor experiences, hiking along the Veiana Trail, intergenerational workshops, discussions on youth, school and sport, and the theatrical performance Accabadora, inspired by the work of Michela Murgia.

Among the highlights are the Social Lunch and the evocative inclusive dinner "Flavours that Unite", organised by the Pro Loco of Pago Veiano: a long shared table where everyone brings something to eat and where the main ingredient becomes the pleasure of meeting new people. What makes Veria Fest truly unique is the extraordinary network of institutions, schools, associations, cultural organisations and local partners working together to make it possible.

More than a festival, Veria Fest is an invitation.
