Il Giardino delle Oche

In Ponte, in the quieter heart of the province of Benevento, Il Giardino delle Oche tells a different way of experiencing Sannio: not as a place to rush through, but as a landscape to listen to. Here, the scent of sun-warmed vineyards meets the golden outline of Mount Taburno at sunset, within an estate belonging to the historic Ocone Winery, founded in 1910 and connected for more than a century to the wine identity of the territory. The winery has built its story around native grape varieties such as Aglianico, Falanghina and Piedirosso, expressing the character of Sannio through elegant wines deeply rooted in the land. In 2018, with the arrival of Euvitis21, this legacy opened a new chapter, focused on sustainability, innovation and a form of hospitality able to bring together culture, nature and slowness. Il Giardino delle Oche was born from this vision: a former country farmhouse transformed into a wine resort, where every space seems designed to slow the pace. On the ground floor, a wine bar opens onto the garden, alongside a curated wine shop and two tasting rooms also used for private and corporate events; outside, a panoramic veranda looks towards Mount Taburno, framed by vineyards and the gentle rustle of olive trees. On the first floor, four refined rooms — two suites and two doubles — welcome up to twelve guests, offering vineyard views, natural tones, handcrafted furnishings and understated elegance shaped around rest. The infinity pool completes the rhythm of the estate: a suspended place of water, hills and light, perfect for beginning the day in silence or ending it with an aperitif as the landscape slowly fades into gold.
