From June 6, 2026 to June 7, 2026

Every year, with the arrival of Corpus Domini, Sant’Agata de’ Goti renews one of its most fascinating and heartfelt traditions. The Flower Festival is much more than a religious celebration: it is an event that brings together art, faith, memory and community participation, transforming the village into a place where creativity meets spirituality.
Coordinated by the historic Mutual Aid Society together with the Municipality, local parishes, schools and hundreds of volunteers, the 2026 edition focused on fraternity, hospitality and the dialogue between past and future. For two days, the cobbled streets and squares of the historic centre came alive thanks to the patient work of master flower artists, young people and families, who created spectacular floral carpets using petals, leaves and natural elements.
Particularly enchanting is the “Night of Flowers”, when the village becomes an open-air workshop. Among fragrances, colours and traditions passed down through generations, an extraordinary spectacle takes shape, involving residents and visitors alike. At dawn, the artworks reveal their full beauty, creating a striking contrast between the vibrant colours of the petals and the ancient stone buildings of the historic centre.
One of the most valuable aspects of the Flower Festival is the transmission of knowledge between generations. Older residents preserve techniques and secrets that are passed on to younger participants, making the event a true cultural and human heritage. The most emotional moment arrives with the Solemn Corpus Domini Procession, which crosses the floral carpets and transforms this remarkable artistic expression into an act of deep spirituality and community.
